We’ve spent all day finishing getting the lounge and office ready so it can be plastered while we’re on our hols. The knock-through to the kitchen is DONE, the ceiling and lights are DONE, the fireplace is MOVED and the french doors are IN! There’s quite a lot of work planned while we’re away, including painting the front of the house, plastering 2 rooms, fixing the roof cladding and building a concrete shed base. Kate and I are just hoping our house is still standing when we return! As proof of our hard work today, here’s the primed-and-ready lounge:
We dropped Samson off round my Mums today too… we’re really gonna miss him, the house is not the same without him! Now we’re just finishing packing, and printing off necessary info on places we’re gonna visit in Japan, then we’re going to bed. Early start in the morning!
